Palm trees are often thought of as tough, drought-resistant plants that can survive on very little water. However, while they are more tolerant of dry conditions than most other trees, they do still need a regular supply of water to stay healthy.

There is no definitive answer to this question as it depends on a number of variables, such as the type of palm tree, the climate, and the soil the tree is growing in. In general, however, palm trees need a lot of water and should be watered regularly.

Can you overwater a palm tree?

If you overwater your palm tree, it will begin to droop and leaves will start to rot. Sometimes you can save your plant by cutting off the dead parts and replanting it again, but if you don’t take care of it soon enough, it will die.

A new indoor Palm Tree should be watered every day in its first week. Next, move to every other day in its second week. Then settle for 3 times a week on the third. Once your indoor Palm Tree is completely settled, water it 2-3 times per week, or when the top 1-2 inches of the soil is completely dry.
