When it comes to allergies, there is no one-size-fits-all answer. We are all different and our bodies can react in different ways to different allergens. That said, there are some general tips that can help you figure out if you have a tree nut allergy.

The best way to test for any allergy is to see a board-certified allergist. They can do a skin prick test or a blood test to see if you are allergic to tree nuts.

If you don’t have access to an allergist, there are some things you can do at home to test for a tree nut allergy. One option is to try an Elimination Diet. This means removing all tree nuts (and tree nut products) from your diet for a period of time, then slowly reintroducing them one at a time. Doing this can help you figure out if tree nuts are the cause of your allergy symptoms.

Another option is to do a Skin Prick Test at home. This involves taking a small amount of tree nut extract and pricking your skin with it. If you are allergic to tree nuts, you will usually see a red, itchy bump within 15 minutes.
